Challenge to find a timeless, uncommon-ish boy’s name

Haven’t found a single boys name that we agree on for impending DS2. DS1 has a fairly unusual, Welsh name with great nickname potential-it’s perfect. I’ve read the entire 2019 ONS list and not found anything.
Must be ‘timeless’- ie. not shot up in popularity recently like Arlo, Albie etc type names.
Would like it to ‘go’ with DS1 so ideally not too common (although this doesn’t put me off entirely) and possibly have Welsh roots (we have links but live in England)
I think I need to be open to starting from scratch to find something because clearly I’m being too fussy!
If I had to choose a name tomorrow it would be Laurie. This has been vetoed by DH!
Please help!

What's your Ds1's name?

YerAWizardHarry · 06/09/2021 11:22

Careful with Ruiaridh, I’m Scottish and the ones I know pronounce it Roo-ry rather than Ro-ry

Thinking back to a lot of the boys' names that were popular at the tail end of the 'Baby Boomer' generation, many feature in this list. I think some must be due a revival, surely?

LadyMonicaBaddingham · 05/09/2021 13:23

Christopher. Very unusual now, for some reason.
