It very trendy now, and doesn't have a especially nice sound imo, sorry. I actually prefer traditional if dated Margaret - at least then she has a choice of nn's (Maggie, Mae, Greta, Meg, Daisy, Margot...).

Ignore the suggestions to spell it Margaux, that is beyond naff

I don't dislike it as such but there are plenty of other much nicer names imho

It's become very popular very quickly. I know of 4 baby Margots born in the last couple of years. It's nice enough just maybe a bit too faddy.
