Traditional but not common

Hi I’m looking for traditional names, or names that are heard of and not uncommon.. but hopefully the only one in the class or year group. An example of what we like..

Violet nn Lettie/Lottie
Matilda nn Tilly
Alice nn Lissie
Madeline we dislike Maddie
Annie
Felicity

Isaac
Jasper
Joseph
Benjamin

I love traditional names that have a cute nickname.. aware some of the above are popular but don’t seem to be in my area.

OP posts:

Violet nn Lettie/Lottie I don't think you'd get 'Lottie' from Violet - you'd get 'Vie'

Alice nn Lissie - again, you'd not get Lissie from Alice.
If you like Lissie, what about Elizabeth / Lizzie ?

or Caroline / Carrie
Christine or Christina / Chrissie
Josephine / Josie

Madeline we dislike Maddie - I wouldn't use Madeline then, as even if you can control it when she is a baby, she WILL be called Maddie at school / hobbies etc.

Jonah
Jonathan
Robert / Robbie
Nathaniel / Nate

Why do you need a nickname? Why not just use their actual name?

I agree with another poster that your choices are fairly common, and not specifically uncommon or traditional!

Some other, possibly less common, traditional names:
Iris
Fay/Faye
Joy/Joyce
Doris
Rose
Elma

I think all of your choices are actually quite popular.

Have you looked at the ONS website for popularity information or darker green?
