Freya by far but there are an awful lot of them. I don’t like Ada at all -v ugly I think - but it’s getting v popular
Adela, Frieda, Flora, Stella, Zara, Tessa, Thora, Aster, Oona, Honor, Esther may be alternatives

I've always though of Ada as being a scullery maid type name. A bit of a drudge. Same with Ida.

I prefer Freya of the two but spelt Freja with the j.

Ada. Freya is also nice but feels a bit more dated as was very popular a few years ago. I'd actually go for pp's suggestion of Frida - beautiful, strong and underused.

These were my top 2 names! And we ended up choosing Ada because it is slightly less popular. Freya is a top 10 name and I didn’t want her to have loads in her class. But I still love the name and now I’m wondering if we should have another so I have a chance to get to use it!
