Potential baby name:

Kayla Louise

Does it flow well? Does they sound good together? It's the only middle name I think sounds good. What do we think?

It's not my style at all but I think it is a pretty name and yes it flows ☺️

Givemethatknife · 24/08/2021 14:38

I don’t like Kayla sorry, it sounds a bit low rent to me - Cara, Clara, Ciara are all quite nice though

AvantGardening · 23/08/2021 17:07

It’s very 80s

peaceinourtime · 23/08/2021 16:55

I knew a Mikyla, pronounced Mi-ky-la as it sounds, something a bit different.

Cissyandflora · 19/08/2021 22:31

Absolutely great name. Def don’t like Thea though. I’d use the full name.

Cindie943811A · 19/08/2021 21:17

Kayla is a lovey name. I know a wonderful Kayla — strong empathetic woman.
Kayla Louise is fine with the ‘a’ to break up the names, but there are so many nice names why no find one that’s a bit more unusual?
Kayla is quite short so you could have quite a long middle name.
Kayla Rosalind, Kayla Elizabeth, Kayla Marguerite, Kayla Clementine for example.

Disneycharacter · 19/08/2021 09:43

Too awkward with the 'l' s stuck in the middle. Sound like a tic

Chunkymenrock · 19/08/2021 05:47

Fern is sweet as a middle name too.

Chunkymenrock · 19/08/2021 05:41

Heidi, Tamsin or Holly are lovely as middle names.

PlainJane1000 · 19/08/2021 01:07

I agree with the pp's who find it heavy on the L's, it's fine because you rarely use the middle name anyway but what about (and I never suggest this name but to me it sounds good here);
Kayla Jane?
Or
Kayla Marie
Kayla Sophie

SionnachRua · 19/08/2021 01:07

I think it's a bit clunky with the repeated L but that's not a dealbreaker for me. Michaela Louise does seem easier to say.

whatausername · 19/08/2021 00:47

They flow well, congratulations OP

Buttercup54321 · 19/08/2021 00:36

Pretty name.
Katayla?

PricklesTheHedgehog · 18/08/2021 23:59

I'm not keen on Kayla. Louise is lovely.

Cissyandflora · 18/08/2021 23:52

Not my style at all. But everyone is different

Cbeebiesrehab · 18/08/2021 23:50

Flows ok but the style is a little dated for me sorry.

Elouera · 18/08/2021 22:54

I agree, its a bit L heavy in the middle, making it a mouthful, but you'd normally just say 1st and surname.

I like Kayla, but also Mikayla.

Sarahvn · 18/08/2021 22:51

Sounds beautiful flows really nicely.
love Kayla
I like unusual names a lot.
I think I heard Louise is the most common middle name for girls. - not a problem but you might like to know.

whattodo2019 · 18/08/2021 22:49

Awful ... sorry just bit my style at all

manhattenrain · 18/08/2021 22:46

@6fingerkitkat I assumed Kay-La

6fingerkitkat · 18/08/2021 22:45

@Chunkymenrock

Well I'd say it's a bit 'L' heavy in the middle and I'm not keen on Kayla. I love Kara Louise though.

Agree with Kara - very pretty

6fingerkitkat · 18/08/2021 22:44

Is it pronounced Kye-La or kay-La ?

I'm theory it's beautiful but I'd be wary of names with ambiguous pronunciation As she's spend her life correcting it.

It might just be me being a bit daft though 😀

Chunkymenrock · 18/08/2021 22:43

Well I'd say it's a bit 'L' heavy in the middle and I'm not keen on Kayla. I love Kara Louise though.

35andThriving · 18/08/2021 22:35

Yes, it sounds lovely.

mondler · 18/08/2021 22:02

Flows nicely Smile
