Finlay

Vincent. I love Vinnie.

Finlay is too little kiddie in my opinion. Cute on a toddler but not on a 50 year old man.

Babydust13 · 17/08/2021 17:38

Vincent Is nice

Finlay is much more common

PixellatedPixie · 17/08/2021 17:08

Finlay - definitely not Vincent.

campion · 17/08/2021 17:06

Finlay

GintyMcGinty · 17/08/2021 17:05

Finlay

Blackberrybunnet · 17/08/2021 17:04

Vinnie. Finlay (and Fin) very VERY popular. Love Vin Diesel , so also love Vin.

Violetlavenders · 17/08/2021 16:40

Vincent! Classic, cool and international.

Finlay/Finley sounds a little dated as it's been sooo popular recently.

Disfordarkchocolate · 17/08/2021 13:56

Finlay.

To me Vincent wears a sheepskin coat and a sovereign ring. Irrational I know.

WhoppingBigBackside · 17/08/2021 13:52

The Vincents I know are called Vince, which isn't very nice. Vincent is better as a middle name as it won't get shortened.

Finlay shortens to Fin, which is much nicer.

Mayhemmumma · 17/08/2021 13:50

Just Finn would be my choice

Out of two though I'd say Vincent

WhoppingBigBackside · 17/08/2021 13:47

Vincent!

MirandaBlu · 17/08/2021 13:31

Vincent! Very classic name with a strong, inspiring history. I also like the fact that it has versions in almost every European language, so it'll be familar to everyone. (You don't necessarily think about it when having a baby, but I'm grateful now that my parents gave me a traditional name that works internationally.)

I love Vin as a nickname, and Vinnie/Vinny is nice too. Finlay seems like a surname to me - nice if it's a family surname, but still a little awkward. Could Vincent Finlay Lastname work for you?

dressupinyou · 17/08/2021 13:28

Finlay. I really really dislike Vinnie.
It's a bit judgy I know but it just sounds a bit thuggish.

Zandathepanda · 17/08/2021 13:24

Oops Finlay (copied mistake)

Zandathepanda · 17/08/2021 13:24

Finley

FluffMagnet · 17/08/2021 13:23

Finley, no competition

Fl0w3ry · 17/08/2021 13:22

Finlay.

RoseMartha · 17/08/2021 13:20

Finlay

DotDotDotDotDot · 17/08/2021 13:16

I’d go for Vincent. Good luck

Awwlookatmybabyspider · 17/08/2021 13:12

I love Vincent but despise Vinnie so it'd have to be Finlay.
