What do you think of Clive?
Is it old fashioned?

Clive is like Brian, such an old man's name. Then again, so is George and Albert 😬. If you like it OP, go for it, but spell it "Clyve" 😉

Tulips15 · 16/08/2021 00:46

I know 2x older men called clive, to me it'a v.old fashioned , In the same way Barry, Terry, Nigel, Paul and Graham ' do.
Not keen

@ThatIsQuiteACrane

I really like Clive but DH has said no way.

His only suggestion so far is Ulysses so we're not really getting anywhere Confused

Clive or Ulysses - that’s quite a choice.
Pastrydame · 14/08/2021 10:21

@DrDetriment

I'm sorry but it screams 60 something sex offender to me. Poor baby Clive.
That's an awful thing to say
twiggytwoo · 14/08/2021 09:45

I like it! Can see it getting popular in the next 5 years or 10

HoikingUpMyBigGirlPantss · 14/08/2021 09:42

Nope. Clive Dunn = Grandad!

I like it better than some of the stupid awful names that are in fashion right now, such as Arthur.

It's not quite old enough, so it's a bit ahead of the curve.
But like Victor and Richard and Guy it has that out of date but not forever vibe. IMO.

Clyde is probably more fashionable right now though.
