Sibling for India and Rafferty

Looking for inspiration for a name which goes well with India and Rafferty? Don’t know what we are having. Quite like Bodhi for a boy but nothing really shouting out to us in the way of girls names. Georgia maybe possibly?!

OP posts:
Are your children’s vaccines up to date?

Some really obnoxious posters on here, clearly get their kicks from voicing unwanted opinions with the intention of upsetting strangers.

Not really, there are some laughably bad 'trying too hard to be different' names being suggested here and I pity some of the kids who have to carry said names. Seriously, are some of you forcing your pet dog to eat a bag of Scrabble tiles and forming names based on what comes out the other end?

Ummm ... this is an Internet forum - if people don't want opinions why post in the first place? 🙄

I know more children called Athena than I do Anna, Claire, Lucy, Jessica or Poppy.

@Puffalicious

This is funny because I know 2 very working class families in my area of the Midlands (the sticks) with babies called Bodhi. Bizarrely one male and one female!

I'm very surprised by this. Never heard of it in life and I'm in a cosmopolitan city (not London). How strange.

Might be ‘strange’, but it’s true. I also know of one (baby) in Plymouth. Maybe just not hit your cosmopolitan city yet? 🤷🏻‍♀️

Athena is a also a very celebrity used name. Tyson Fury the gypsy King and Heidi Range both just called their daughters this this week. I'd imagine it will probably be a top 10 name within the next couple of years.

They are quite common names now. Especially because they are the name of celebrity children. Jude Law's son is Rafferty and Megan Fox's son is Bodhi.

Anyway, I really like your children’s names OP. How about:

Boys:
Judah
Beauden
Sonny
Jasper

Girls:
Noa
Saffron/Saffy
Willa

Jesus. We have complete opposite taste

I like Asher or Astrid for a girl
Ruben goes well with Rafferty and India

Thanks, what a lovely message. My two and their dad are into surfing so yeah you are correct with that. Bodhi defo strikes me as a surfer name,

They will be in keeping with names of the time. Names like Emma, Sarah, Vicky were very popular in the 80s but imagine calling kids similar names now.

Thank you, I also really like Maddie but not sure about Madeline or Maddison.

@DillonPanthersTexas

Do you all have kids at hogwarts?

Yes I was thinking that too

Why do people make such daft suggestions kids have to live with these names

dontblamemee · 12/08/2021 08:15

Bodhi fits perfectly with India and Rafferty and I can imagine the three of them causing mischief on the beach (lack of sleep?) any way the other 2 names that have stood out from previous posters to me are: Nova and Delilah which I think will fit perfectly. I also love Georgia (or any other George-esq names) and I think if you like it go for it.

BorderlineHappy · 12/08/2021 08:01

Love your names.
Boys
Rocco
Logan
Harrison

Rudi
Girls
Harper

Athena

Amdone123 · 12/08/2021 07:34

I love Georgia. I think Tabitha is lovely. I wentbto college with a girl called Tabitha ( over 30 years ago now), and I thought it was so cool in a sea of boring names.
I love Quinn. For either.
Martha, Clementine. Margot ?
I like Beau but I think I prefer a longer name. I don't like Bodhi but understand its appeal.

HairyToity · 12/08/2021 07:22

Camilla
Iris

Fizzysticks · 12/08/2021 07:15

Goodness, the rudeness on this thread is shocking! This isn’t the 1950s, I personally love that there are now so many beautiful names that are being used. Perhaps the bullies who pick on children for their names are the offspring of some of the posters on here.

LostInTheColonies · 12/08/2021 07:09

Jemima.

No ideas for boys though!

HelenHywater · 12/08/2021 07:07

Dylan and Jude have the same vibe as Rafferty I think.. Gabriel?

Iris, Clem(entine), Bea(trice), and Selina?

PearlFriday · 12/08/2021 06:59

What about Caledonia?

I like it!

PearlFriday · 12/08/2021 06:57
