Any other girls names I might like thinking of Elizabeth as a middle name... thanks

It's cute but I can't imagine an adult Heidi. I think Harriet is better - I know several grown up Harriets.

I really like it! Wouldn’t use it as have so many names I love, but it’s unusual and pretty.

DismantledKing · 11/08/2021 19:35

It’s a lovely name.

iamdashi · 11/08/2021 19:24

Harriet also wonderful. Maybe a bit better than Heidi because you can more easily imagine an adult called Harriet. NN Hattie is very sweet. Or Henrietta, NN Hettie? It's a bit frillier.

Babydust13 · 11/08/2021 15:49

Thanks everyone I also quite like Harriet but not sure it goes as well with Elizabeth

Love Heidi.
Know a fabulous oneWink

FatAnkles · 11/08/2021 13:43

I like it. It's not that common a name right now.

iamdashi · 11/08/2021 13:41

I love it. It's interesting there are all these Heidi Elizabeths - it's a lovely combination, but strange coincidence nonetheless.

I agree with PP that Clara is a lovely name too, and thematically similar.

DazzlingCreature · 11/08/2021 10:09

Nope, I think that Heidi should be milking goats with her grandfather.

CatMuffin · 11/08/2021 10:04

I love it

valleyplaza · 10/08/2021 14:53

I like it, and I think of Ingrid and Imogen as being along the same lines.

TempsPerdu · 10/08/2021 14:41

It’s OK. A bit cutesy for me but I see it as a ‘happy’ name and it’s simple, straightforward, not excessively common etc.

Could never use it myself as I have a Greta and the pair of them would sound like they’d escaped from a Grimm’s fairytale! Grin

hanahsaunt · 10/08/2021 14:23

I love it :)

TheWayTheLightFalls · 10/08/2021 14:22

Yodel-ay-hee-hoo

DramaAlpaca · 10/08/2021 14:21

I dislike it. It's harsh and twee all at the same time. A big no.

noblegreenk · 10/08/2021 13:51

Love it! I wanted to call dd Heidi but unfortunately dh wasn't keen.

Greenmarmalade · 10/08/2021 13:29

Lovely. Increasingly popular, but not overly so. I know 3 (all lovely!)

BigMamaFratelli · 10/08/2021 13:28

Love it

PleaseGoToSleeep · 10/08/2021 13:25

Love it

Warmduscher · 10/08/2021 13:24

I love it Smile

lazylockdowner · 10/08/2021 13:20

Monkeytapper I have a Heidi Elizabeth too Grin she's the only one in her very large secondary and was always the only one in primary. There is another Heidi living in our village she's 50

I'm biased but Heidi is a beautiful name

HeronLanyon · 10/08/2021 13:18

Consonants not condiments ffs (quite a good auto correct there). More to the point I meant ‘vowels’ anyway !

HeronLanyon · 10/08/2021 13:17

I like Heidi and think of it as Austrian/German/Swiss. I knew a lovely Heidi which definitely changed my view of the name.
Think if I hadn’t I would not like it interestingly. Feels ‘thin’ with so many condiments if I really think about it. Also seems a very ‘young’ name.
But I like it because of great woman.

MrsKeats · 10/08/2021 13:12

Awful

Velvetbee · 10/08/2021 12:59

Love it.
