What are your thoughts on Bellamy for a boy?

Are your children’s vaccines up to date?
BingBongToTheMoon · 03/08/2021 09:51

No, it’s a surname.
I have a real dislike for surnames as christian names.

NoviceNewMN · 03/08/2021 09:48

No.
David Bellamy and David Bellamy impressions:

Ozanj · 03/08/2021 09:46

I think the name would only suit your son if he looked exactly like Bob Morley. Grin

badacorn · 03/08/2021 09:43

No. Would be lovely if I had never heard the term bellend.

Bryonyshcmyony · 03/08/2021 09:39

Even I'd think Bellend, never mind the other kids

PearlFriday · 03/08/2021 09:38

I like it! although it makes me think of Bel Ami by Guy de Maupassant
I always thought it would be a lovely name.

Bryonyshcmyony · 03/08/2021 09:37

That's a hard pass from me

Kanaloa · 03/08/2021 09:36

I’ve never seen the 100 but read the book when I was younger so associate it with that really. I don’t think it’s the nicest name.

mafted · 03/08/2021 09:33

I know one. Most people call him Bells.

stargirl1701 · 03/08/2021 09:33

The 100?

GlitterBiscuits · 03/08/2021 09:32

@SprayedWithDettol

He will be called bellendy
Oh no! You're right!
Urghhhhh · 03/08/2021 09:30

No way.

ZenNudist · 03/08/2021 09:29

Will make a top middle name with David as a first name

Duetorain · 03/08/2021 09:27

Only know it as a surname. If you want an French origin name how about Albert?

Emanchego · 03/08/2021 09:27

lol

DinosaurDiana · 03/08/2021 09:26

Absolutely not.

whoslaughingnow73 · 03/08/2021 09:23

It's a surname, and he'll get called bellend by other teenagers at school.

It's a no from me.

SprayedWithDettol · 03/08/2021 09:23

He will be called bellendy

emmathedilemma · 03/08/2021 09:22
