Is Jules/Jools inevitable?

I love Juliet but really don’t like Jules/Jools…I think I probably need to let Juliet go but its so hard!!

My second cousin is a Juliet , she dies get called Jules but isn't actually bothered by it

No it's not inevitable. Most people will call you what you introduce yourself as. If not, a polite correction is usually enough. Very few people just insist on calling you a different name.

The deciding factor will be whether she prefers Jules when she grows up. If she starts using it then everyone else will too.

The 2 Juliet's I know - 1 goes by her full name and the other is known as Etty.

Juliette was my choice for dc2 (ds).

Absolutely love it!

The only one I know goes by her full name. Actually, I know two, and they both use their full name. Having said that, I don’t dislike Jules.

Love the name Juliet it was on my list but I also didn’t want it shortening to Julie/jools etc!
The only alternatives I can suggest for a nickname is Ettie/Etta- but it’s a bit of a stretch!
Plus it’s out of your control what others shorten it too so I do think jools etc is inevitable unfortunately

I know a Juliet who goes by her full name. It's beautiful and easy to say.
