A sister for Anna

My daughter is called Anna. I love her name; to me, it is elegant, simple, classic, timeless and international. I'm now expecting number two, and if it's a girl, I'd like to choose a name with similar qualities, and a similar "feel". Here is our list so far - I'd love to get some opinions on which would be the best of these options, as well as any suggestions of names you think would work well.

I don’t think Frances is very international (though it is lovely) - perhaps Francesca?

Iris is both classic and very ‘now’ - think it would go well.

What about Florence, Constance, Helena or Emma?

I agree with you that Anna is classic, beautiful, elegant, simple, international etc. I think there are other names out there that are beautiful or simple or elegant etc but I honestly don't think there's another name that has all those qualities. To my mind it's completely unique.

If it were me I'd Isobel or Daisy as names that compliment Anna.

I don't think of Emily, Naomi or iris as international tbh. Mary and Frances and Isobel are (though I'd do Isabella). How about Catherine, Sarah, Rachel... I'd go for Frances from your list.
