Imogen’s sister is called....?

Help! We’re due DD2 soon and can’t settle on a name. Not even close!

Our 4 year old is Imogen.

Looking for something classic, not too girlie (ideally not ending in -ie/y or -a) but not too masculine.

Names we’ve considered but don’t absolutely love are Beatrice, Emmeline, Eleanor and Alexandra.

All ideas welcome!

Phoebe - I don't know why but I've always imagined them together.

Did you know that (according to what I read on here once), Imogen was invented by Shakespeare / someone copying out his work, as a mis-copying of Innogen?

lottiegarbanzo · 30/07/2021 10:03

Olivia, Miranda, Rosalind, Beatrice or other Shakespearean name.

Love Phoebe, Margot and Clara. Definitely going on the list.

DH is a teacher which is a nightmare for him vetoing names because he’s had a horror pupil, so hoping to get some of these past him!
