Alexis

I'd tread really carefully with that these days, as it's too close to Alexa - especially if people are lazy and 'clip' the end. Alexa is a beautiful name (as is Alexis), but it's now become a living nightmare for anybody called that name now. I'd go for Alex instead, with the emphasis on a different syllable.

Miller

But might sound too much like Mila so people will assume it's that/assume she's a girl anyway. Although I do like Miller for a boy too.

Love robin.
I was thinking today Jerry is a lovely name.

TotorosCatBus · 17/07/2021 20:13

You could go down the initial route. You wouldn't know if AJ was really an Alexander Jack or Alexandra Jacqueline until you met them.

Very few of the names are really what I would consider proper unisex names.
They are mainly either

  • names that were boys but are now 99% associated with girls
  • nicknames/shortenings
  • using y as an ending when the girl's name is usually ie
  • surnames
None of which of course are a problem if it's what the OP wants. Smile

Out of all the suggestions, I think I would choose Satchel Poh.

CrouchEndTiger12 · 17/07/2021 18:16

Alexis
Beverley

Both unisex

CrouchEndTiger12 · 17/07/2021 18:15

Morgan

EllaBlaire · 17/07/2021 18:15

Robyn is a girl’s name, if you’re following that logic you could add Francis to your list.

EllaBlaire · 17/07/2021 18:14

Not sure Danny and Lee are unisex.

Darryl can be used for both. Meredith, Hilary and Lindsay can be either…. I suspect these aren’t to your taste though.
