Sebastian, it's much more interesting.

WeasilyPleased · 04/12/2021 15:42

Jack. Much stronger and more impactful than wishy washy Sebastian.

Toastytoads · 04/12/2021 13:55

My friend's son (adult now) is Sebastian, they have a one syllable surname. She calls him Bastie or Bast. I believe he is Sebastian to everyone else though. Certainly in his professional life.

Jack, definitely. Really don't like either Sebastian or Seb.

Katefoster · 17/07/2021 17:28

Sebastian. There was soooooiii many Jacks around

Chilldonaldchill · 17/07/2021 17:06

I like them both but much prefer Sebastian.

17caterpillars1mouse · 17/07/2021 16:26

I like both but I know more Sebastian's than Jack so I'll go with that

Hmm. Jack - at a push. I really don’t like Sebastian - it’s frilly and the shortening of Seb is awful. Jack is solid but a bit boring. It’s a familiar name for John, which is gr

Sparring · 17/07/2021 14:58

They're both good choice.

Sebastian would be my first choice if you'll use the full name. I'm not a fan of Seb.

Jack if not.

Ellmau · 17/07/2021 14:45

Sebastian.

IVflytrap · 17/07/2021 14:19

Jack. Nice, straight-forward name and still a bit cool. I know it's popular, but I only know two, and one of them is in his 30s.

Sebastian is one of the few names I really can't stand, both sound-wise and connotations. Probably doesn't help that I used to work with a Sebastian who was a condescending bully. Really don't like Seb as a shortening. Bastian is a better one, but still not great when you consider what people might change it to.
