Ivan?

We’re expecting DC2 in October, we already have a little boy called Travis. We have decided if it’s a girl she will be called Nancy. For a boy we both really love Ivan, just wondering others opinions on it?.

Love love Nancy.
Dislike the name Ivan with a passive. I knew an Ivan,, pronounced I van which is even worse

Unfortunately Ivan has negative connections for me relating to people I knew but I love Evan which doesn’t so as you don’t have that problem it seems an excellent choice. Travis was a great choice and I love Nancy too

Names don’t have to match unless we are talking 1 called Jane and the other something long and fancy like serendipity. My personal dislike is all the same letter and very matchy matchy.

It was Ivor Biggun not Ivan. I liked both Ivor and Ivan but we have an n surname and DH couldn’t cope with Ivor, due to Biggun.

I know an Ivan who loves his name and he's never met another child Ivan. It's a good strong memorable name.

Travis & Ivan are fine aren't they?
Sibling names often don't match though unless really strongly themed? (E.g. Irish origins & spellings).

I think all three are good, strong names that are not common but not way out either, and they go well together.

Travis and Hunter/Ethan/Logan/Colton/Maverick/Hudson/Jaxxon

We aren't bothered about names ‘going’. As they’re individuals. We just wanted to choose names we both like
