We are currently between Heidi and Darcey for dd2 due in a couple of months. Which do you prefer? Or any other suggestions of similar names. Thanks :)

Heidi!

Mariex1989 · 11/07/2021 15:17

100% Darcey. Absolutely adore it, although I’m probably bias as this is what we’ve decided to name ours.

Not a fan of Heidi

Chachachawoo · 11/07/2021 12:49

Like both but would chose Darcy bc for me it works better for an adult as well as a child.
I also love Dulcie, Romy and Elodie which have similar vibe

Chilldonaldchill · 11/07/2021 11:04

Heidi.
I've never liked Darcy.

KirstenBlest · 11/07/2021 10:32

Heidi. I don't like Darcey at all.

Darcey/Darcie/Darcy has peaked a few years ago so will seem dated.

RobinPenguins · 11/07/2021 08:26

Heidi. Really dislike Darcey/Darcy and it sounds dated already.

Demortuisnilnisibonum · 11/07/2021 08:22

Heidi.

WeMarchOn · 11/07/2021 08:17

I used to love the name Darcey and if my son was a girl he would have been called that, now however after watching 90 day fiancé seeing Darcey & Stacey I'm like nope

Fountaining · 11/07/2021 08:04

I agree with Darcy/Darcey/Darcie being essentially the new Tracy, but Heidi is too cutesy and Alpine for me. I know two adult Heidis, now in their 40s, and both loathed their name on the grounds of being too little-girly.

Frazzled2207 · 11/07/2021 08:04

Like both but I think Darcey will date much more

StepladderToHeaven · 11/07/2021 08:03

Heidi is ok but I prefer Darcy.

DinosaurDiana · 11/07/2021 08:02

Darcy, not Darcey.

Livingintheclouds · 11/07/2021 08:01

A new baby in the family is Darcy. Must be getting popular!

GinQueen1844 · 11/07/2021 07:55

Heidi ☺️

Seventimesaday · 11/07/2021 07:51

Love Heidi. You don’t hear it often where I am. There are quite a few Darcy’s, Darcey’s and D’Arcy’s though.

daisypond · 11/07/2021 07:44

I don’t like either, but Darcy is worse.

Hppymum123 · 11/07/2021 07:33

Darcey! Heidi is ok, but hasn’t quite come back around for me yet, still reminds me of a 50 year old woman

LoveMyBlanket · 11/07/2021 07:26

Heidi is lovely.

I really don’t like Darcey (especially with the e).

FayeFayeFayeFayeFaye · 11/07/2021 07:23

Heidi.

Really dislike Darcey.

PeskyIsland · 11/07/2021 06:50

How is Heidi pronounced?

upsideoxide · 11/07/2021 06:43

Heidi
I think Darcy is a bit common. Sorry

Peachbubble · 11/07/2021 06:35

Definitely Heidi.

IamnotwhouthinkIam · 11/07/2021 00:25

Not keen on either personally - but of the two, Heidi (Darcy's popularity is quite celeb based, which means it will date more/become downmarket more quickly imo).

Some nicer "ee" ending names imo:
Felicity
Verity
Sylvie
Xanthe
Rosalie
Coralie
Cecily

TatianaBis · 10/07/2021 23:43

Heidi. Darcey is 100% Essex.

HomersMakeupGun · 10/07/2021 23:10

Heidi! I knew one when I was very little (early 90s) and her sister was Lottie. They were quite unusual names to me then (among the Katies and Beckys and Emmas)
