....any ideas? Not sure if we are having a boy or girl.

I like vintage-y names for girls. A couple of names I like (none of which really fall into that category): Heidi, Matilda (maybe too popular?), Robyn.

For boys, I have no idea!

I like names that are not overly popular and work well as baby names but are also strong adult names.

Any suggestions? Thank you!

Ah actually Christopher / Chris is lovely for a boy. I always forget about that as it’s my DH’s name!

LadyMonicaBaddingham · 10/07/2021 17:24

For a boy, Christopher. Perfectly matched.

For boys I like Olly, Harry, Archie

For a boy, I'd go for very traditional, but not fashionable, like Robert, Peter or John. For a girl, Celia or Honor.

IamnotwhouthinkIam · 08/07/2021 22:36

I'd look for another vintage/retro name that doesn't end in a "ee" sound - (a bit samey with Annie) so:

Nell (alone or for Helena?)
May (alone or for Maria?)
Cora
Freda
Lillian
Evelyn (too popular?)
Iris (ditto?)
Clara
Louisa
Lydia

Robert
John
Hugh
Eric
Edgar
Edmund
Wilfred
Alfred (too popular?)
Frederick (ditto?)
