Which name? HELP?

Due my first girl anytime and shes nameless, i have some names on my shortlist, but i cant choose, they are:

Amelia-Bea
Sofia-Bea
Gracie-Bea
Mila-Bea

Any other name suggestions welcome And the Bea is a must after my late nana, also middle name will be Coline after my late dad Colin who past away not long ago when i was 7 months pregnant :(

I agree with pp, the hyphen just doesn't work.

Call her Beatrice! A lovely way to properly honour your relative.

I would go for Daisy but I would lose the hyphen. Bea or Beatrice is a great middle name (along with Coline) and a gorgeous first name if you prefer it in that spot.

Dd used to be friends with a Honey Bee.
They moved away. I agree with others, keep bea as a middle name. Or even have coline-bea as a middle name?

I love the name Beatrix on its own, so
why not Beatrix Coline? I'm afraid that a lot of people are quite judgemental about hyphenated names (me included!).

I think calling her Beatrice or Beatrix would be lovely after your nana then have the middle name for your dad.

Like others have said I don't think Bea works especially with the hyphen.

Bea sounds like an initial. Mila B for example. I think it would be very confusing. Use Beatrice as a first or second name.

Agree with pp - drop the hyphen, just have two middle names. Sofia is lovely - very classic and would suit a grown woman too. Mila would be my second choice - nice, although a little trendy at the moment. I dislike Gracie, Tillie and Daisy - all a bit twee for me and only really suit a little girl. Amelia is very popular, if that bothers you, and I've never been keen on the 'mealy' sound.

I like almost all of your choices of first names (not keen on Mila) and also like Bea (or Beatrice). But I really dislike double barrelled first names. They have a Southern US, country music vibe.

Would you consider having 2 middle names instead, with Bea as the first of the middle names?

Mila is my favourite of your list, but on its own. -Bea doesn't work and will certainly get dropped.
Bea or Beatrice as a middle name would be lovely though.

Having said that I do think Daisy- Bea sounds extremely cute so maybe Daisy Beatrice Coline with Daisy-Bea as nn. I think that is lovely.

I can understand wanting to honour your nana of course, but I think -Bea is maybe going to sound like Bee as in bumble bee when people hear it (rather than see it written down) so Tillie-Bea might sound like a species of bee for example. Could you call her Bea or Beatrice nn Bea as a first name?

Beatrice Coline would be a fine name.

If you're set on the -Bea then I think Amelia and Gracie work best out of your first list. The other two don't flow as well. Daisy works too.

I know it's important to you but I think you also need to be ok with the idea the -Bea will get dropped when she's at school. Kids names often get abbreviated.

I like all the names but drop the hyphen. '-Bea' doesn't work. Bea for one of the middle names, or maybe even Beatrice with one of the others as a middle name? But nothing-Bea. Sorry.
