Which of these two classic/vintage names would you prefer? Also, which pronounciation are you used to for Louisa?

Louisa is much nicer than the others.

I suppose Louisa could be with a s sound rather than z but I've only ever heard Looee za. I far prefer it to Claire or Clarissa.

Love Louisa, and pronounce as Fortunes said.

Clarissa. Claire is just SO eighties. I don't think it's reached vintage territory yet!

Surely Louisa can only be pronounced one way?

FortunesFave · 27/06/2021 09:29

Both lovely. Although I was never aware of any other pronunciation for Louisa...other than the one that sounds like "Lou - eez - a"

Clare is nicer than Claire if you ask me.
