RickOShay · 25/06/2021 21:14

I much prefer Margo.
Addy is not great as a nn. I know one. She’s nearly always Addy.

BigfatJ · 25/06/2021 21:11

Wow thank you @ChairOnToast, I had no idea. Thank goodness for people like you eh

mangodreams · 25/06/2021 21:11

Adelaide over Margot definitely. Margot is such an ugly name.
I prefer Adeline or Addison over Adelaide though.

BunnyRuddington · 25/06/2021 21:10

You know it’s a city in Australia and not a name don’t you?. The city Adelaide was named after the Queen Consort.

Vooga · 25/06/2021 21:09

@ChairOnToast

Amazed everyone is saying Adelaide. You know it’s a city in Australia and not a name don’t you?
Ehhhh, and who is it named after?
SunSeaSurfGin · 25/06/2021 21:08

Margot is the snobby ndn in the Good Life and as much as I love that show it's a no

Kanaloa · 25/06/2021 21:08

There are also places named Georgia, Victoria, Alexandra. They are names and places.

It's a name that's been used by the british royal family for hundreds of years, go back to the 1700s/1800s and there were a lot of princesses called Adelaide
Kanaloa · 25/06/2021 21:07

Both nice! No help here obviously. I think if I had to choose I’d say Margot.

emmathedilemma · 25/06/2021 20:39

I prefer Maggie to Margot.
Adelaide is very dated to me (maybe because the only one I’ve ever known was at primary school)

merryhouse · 25/06/2021 20:16

Adelaide. Margot is ugly.

DGFB · 25/06/2021 20:14

MrsFin · 25/06/2021 20:12

They'll live separately as adults and it won't matter a jot

But you'll be yelling the names one after the other across the park for the next decade or so, so you might decide it does

IggyAce · 25/06/2021 19:44

Adelaide

AuntieStella · 25/06/2021 19:43

I prefer Adelaide, but both are lovely

Nohomemadecandles · 25/06/2021 19:43

They don't need to "go" . Choose the one you love! Both beautiful names. Go with your heart. They'll live separately as adults and it won't matter a jot.

Eleoura · 25/06/2021 19:41

WaitinginVain · 25/06/2021 19:40
