Boy honor name

Can you give me some suggestions on how to honour the name Jasmine but for a boy name? I've thought of Jasper (Persian and shares Jas start whilst being naturey), Theodore (same meaning) and James (shares loads of letters)

Benjamin is another name with lots of the same letters.

Jasper is my favourite option so far, fwiw.

The whole concept of "honouring" with a name is a bit Confused to me tbh.

You either use the name or you don't. I keep seeing people try to make links between names so that they can claim to be "honouring" and all it just seems a bit contrived.

If you like the name Jasper or James then use one of them but don't try and make out it's in honour of someone called Jasmine because they're very different names.
