In the same way Eric has been popping up again? Not Marcus or Marco but just Mark/Marc. Anyone know any little ones?

No, not yet. It's still a dad/uncle name so seems dated. When it's a grandad name it will be back!

I can’t see Mark coming back yet. As a general rules names seem to come back around a hundred years after their initial popularity - when they are great grandparent names. Mark is more of a dad name so I can’t see it taking off yet. It is still in steady use though - around 200 baby Marks born each year.

It always makes me think of a stain

I hope so.
It's a lovely name, but actually far less 'of an era' than Eric.
I've known the odd Mark in many different age bands.

Yes. There are two boys under 3 I know called Mark. Good name choice.

I teach a 3yo called Mark. I have found Eric to be jarring, to my ears it is one of the v old man names, whereas being a 70s baby I grew up with lots of Marks so seems much more familiar. Also teach a Paul and a Colin.
