What are your thoughts on Oran for a boy?

OP posts:
Are your children’s vaccines up to date?

Yes, but only with the Irish spelling.

IamnotwhouthinkIam · 22/06/2021 20:13

Love it, seems familiar yet not too popular. But I too prefer the Orin/Orrin spelling - however if you are Irish, I can see that Oran/Odhran makes more sense (I love Hebrew Oren too, but that's not usable in Wales!)

HollyGarland · 22/06/2021 19:59

I think it’s beautiful.

Marlena1 · 22/06/2021 19:39

I love it. Was on my list, never made the oral connection tbh. Also love Rían if Oran associations are too much!!

MaMelon · 22/06/2021 19:35

I prefer Orin - Oran is too much like oral

resm · 22/06/2021 19:34

Love it, but prefer the Odhrán spelling personally. Think it suits all ages.

romdowa · 22/06/2021 19:32

It's on my list but I intend to spell it the Irish way. Its a beautiful name. 😍

Yesyoucantell · 22/06/2021 19:31

Probably says a lot more about me than anything else to be fair, sorry...

Phyllis321 · 22/06/2021 19:31

It’s the strange emo from Parks and Recreation to me.

Yesyoucantell · 22/06/2021 19:30

Oral?

Really sorry if that's offensive especially if it's a cultural thing for you but it's the first thing that came to mind

CatsWhiskers2020 · 22/06/2021 19:30

Ooh i like it
