I love the sound of it. My only issues is Ms Lestrange Shock would the association still be made? Does it matter?

The death eaters are based on Nazis/KKK - you really can't do this.
And yes Lucius and Narcissa are ok choices? I've seen both mentioned on here before! And I've know of a Severus (seriously!)

Other kids won't bat an eyelid, parents and potential employers will do much eye rolling so best not, ay.
Saying that I did meet a little khalesi in the park once and she was lovely.

Ooh dear!

I like Beatrix a lot but like the Bella sound. There are other 'bad' characters that have good names. It's a constellation so it's not made up. Interesting points though.

Yes but Wendy was a good character, whereas Bellatrix was an evil one. So I don't think it's quite the same connotation.

Could always call her Isabella Trixie Surname and use the nn Bellatrix.

No I would't call my child Bellatrix, it will always remind people of HP

I would go for Beatrix/Beatrice instead.

I have a daughter named Bella, I really wanted Bellatrix but couldn’t do it to her! There’s always Trixabel/Trixibelle if you fancy!

Now considering whether to get another cat to use the name.

Could get a white one too and call it Narcissa.

The problem with choosing Bellatrix and the Harry Potter connection, is that the character is evil to the core. She isnt a misunderstood baddie turned goodie. Theres no point at all where one can warm to her.

Why have that association?
