But still don't call her Vivienne 🤣

Also I'm sorry for being so mean about Vivienne

SleepingStandingUp · 17/06/2021 21:36

@youcanprance

I like the meaning of Vivienne best - It means Alive.

This is the baby we hope won’t pass away in NICU after two DD’s previously

Best of luck @youcanprance I hope baby gets stronger every day until she's home with you

I would go for Vivienne for this very reason 💖 beautiful. Sending love
SleepingStandingUp · 17/06/2021 21:34

Vivienne - not if you paid me. Awful
Selena - ok
Lydia - cute
Alice - classic

I'd probably pick Alice

SE13Mummy · 17/06/2021 21:33

I love Alice and Lydia.

You've not asked for other suggestions but as your DD is in NICU, I wondered if Beatrice (she who brings happiness) or Miriam (wished for child) might suit her.

@youcanprance

I do like the spelling ‘Vivian’ but I thought that’s a mans version in some countries?
Vivien is generally female, such as Vivien Leigh.

Vivian with an A can be the mans name although I think that's fairly uncommon these days.

I actually love strong, androgynous names (such as Alex, Jude etc), but I would say most people would associate Vivien and even Vivian as being female.

Angel2702 · 17/06/2021 21:30

Vivienne or Alice

20viona · 17/06/2021 21:30

Vivienne

MaryBoBary · 17/06/2021 21:29

Lydia

ZednotZee · 17/06/2021 21:27

Selena

youcanprance · 17/06/2021 21:26

The reason I like Lydia is I like the way it’s said but also like how it looks written down... if that makes sense?

Another vote for Vivienne. Very cool

Lydia is my favourite.

yourestandingonmyneck · 17/06/2021 21:19

Vivienne, although I prefer it spelled Vivien.

I prefer the strength of Vivien; I find Vivienne a bit too frilly and in general I prefer the shorter, less frilly versions of names.

It's definitely my favourite of your list though. Followed by Lydia. Not keen on the other two.

@Chunkymenrock that’s funny actually as I quite like the nickname Lids Grin

Was going to say Selena, but reading about the your reason for Vivienne, swopped to that. Sorry for your previous losses [flower]
