We’re 90% decided on Lucy for baby#2 due in a few weeks. We’re torn between:
Lucy Elizabeth

Lucy Florence

Both have family ties. Which do you think sounds better?

Thank you!

I know a Lucy Margaret......but of your choices, I like Lucy Florence best

I prefer Lucy Elizabeth. It just rolls off the tongue.

Lou Flo

I would avoid middle names with vowels, because of initials spelling a word. It may not be an issue now, but could be with a married name; think "Lucy Elizabeth Green" or more possibilities if the surname is hyphenated "Lucy Elizabeth Walker-Drummond".

I would therefore go with Lucy Florence which sounds lovely anyway.

I really like Lucy Florence. Elizabeth is quite often used for a middle name so Florence would be more interesting.
