Short / Soft / Unusual boys names!

We are very fussy I know!

Been searching high and low for a boys name we like. Needs to be short (not keen on over 2 syllables) soft sounding (if that makes sense) and not common, don't like biblical or modern/ americanised names either! Our other son is called Milo if that helps.

Vetoed: Arlo, Rupert, Gus, Felix, Otto

Nathan.
John - OK it's not unusual but when did you last see a little one?

Hugh / Hugo

Max - maybe not, it can get tricky with bank accounts and letters as they get older.

Andrew known as Drew (unless your surname is Peacock)

Lee / Leo

We have a Caspar which I think is quite 'soft' sounding (ironically my 3 year old Caspar is a complete brute!)

Also on our list was:

Jude
Max
Raphael
Felix

(We also have a Leo but don't think this works with Milo!)

Here is what other siblings of Milos are called. I think Liam is the closest to your brief from these!

I wouldn't go for another name ending in "o" if you already have a Milo.

What about:

  • Laurie
  • Edwin
  • Alec
  • Jacob
  • Oscar
  • Blake
  • Calen
  • Ernest

Ian. I've only known 1 and he's a lovely man. Very sweet and caring.

My DD's best friend is called Wilbur. I think that's quite quite
