Olivia is super duper popular atm and a lot of parents miss off the O and yell Livia anyway. I'm unsure how I feel about Vera

Why would Vera become Veera?

All the Veras I know pronounce it Ver-ah, as it's written. Like Veronica or Verity or Veranda. There's no ee.

I much prefer Vera over Livia.

I love Livia, but the closeness to the ubiquitous Olivia puts me off a little. I’m not fond of the Veer-a pronunciation, but I know a little Vair-a and think that sounds lovely. Living with an alternative pronunciation might be a pain though. I wouldn’t be surprised if Vera took off in popularity and became the next Mabel. I think it has a lot of potential.

I would read Vera as VEER-ah. I still quite like it as a revival.

I really like Livia ( largely I think because I loved Sian Phillips in I Claudius. Not a nice character but by goodness it was a great role and performance.)
I think the current popularity of Olivia puts me off it a little right now. But not sure if that's relevant as I don't meet a lot of children with any one name nowadays.
