Oh Christ no - that really Is a porn actress name.

In Italy it’s just short for bambino - which means child not baby girl - and I’ve never heard anyone being called that - it would be weird.

Bambi is an Italian girls name that means baby girl. Thanks for all the feedback though.

Go for it. Bambi was a male deer but I'm sure it could be unisex. Maybe Bamba for a girl?

It made me think of Secret Diary of a Call Girl... it’s quite a common “name” in that industry, I believe, because it makes you think of leggy, cute women.

It makes a cute nickname but I wouldn’t use it as the actual name.

Even the Disney film is quite sad...
