I think:

  • Diana Rachel;
  • Rosa Diana; or
  • something beginning with ‘Z’.

What does everyone else think? And please - if you’re not interested - don’t join in the conversation.

'When is she due?' I don't think the plebs have been told. We will probably see a picture of the back of its head when it's six weeks old.

LadyEloise · 25/05/2021 09:21

Hoe do you pronounce Ceres @DelilahTheParrot ?

BernadetteRostankowskiWolowitz · 25/05/2021 09:06

When is she due?

JBaez · 25/05/2021 08:31

Liberty is a good shout.

nickynackynoopants · 25/05/2021 07:17

Lol at Harriet 🤣. I think Elizabeth and Diana will be in there, they’ll want to emphasise connection to the RF since it’s so lucrative to them despite apparently despising the institution.

I don’t think Rachel, I think Meghan wants to rewrite both her past family life and her past work life to rebrand herself so it won’t be that.

First name.. it’s out there but... Luna?? Diana is goddess of the moon amongst other things.

Final thought - Ceres. “ Ceres’ love of and service to mankind is the equivalent of the Greek goddess, Demeter. As the goddess of cultivation, she taught people not only how to grow crops but also how to grow as a person. She gave the gift of agriculture to mankind. This benevolent goddess was the only goddess to be involved in the day-to-day lives of ordinary people. She was the protector of maidenhood, womanhood, and motherhood”

So my guess is Ceres Elizabeth Diana.

They are clearly settled in America and their son is called Archie (a fairly normal not-weird kind of modern name), so it will be something modern and pretty normal that works well in the States like Alicia or Paige or something like that. I don't think they will choose anything outlandish, and there is no way they would choose something Royal Family-esque like Elizabeth.

ARoseDowntown · 25/05/2021 03:13

Truth. So each can refer to “My Truth”.

Verity, if they’re trying to be fancy.

TracyBeakerSoYeah · 25/05/2021 03:13

Haven
or
Harper
or
Francesca

RollerCoasterProteinSpill · 25/05/2021 02:57

Francesca known as Frankie would be cute with Archie.
Spencer would be appropriately American but I don't sense Harry would want to honour those relatives.

With the MM initials detail thrown in the mix I'm going for MaiaDiana Meghenrietta Mountbatten-Windsor.

I think if she calls herself 'Meg', then she subconsciously wants a traditional association for her own name. I agree with another poster, 'Margaret' - maybe 'Margaux' for their daughter.

I think Archie, as a name choice, would have seemed close to Harry - of that same Edwardian era - but for the combination with the middle name. Harrison would suggest an alternative choice and way of naming after the father. I think they couldn't decide, so chose both.

I think it is the combining of Archie and Harrison which has given a mixed vibe of new and old: Archie Frederick, would have sounded royal and conventional.

Harrison could actually be a very ancient and traditional way to form a name from your forebears - it's just we don't do it in Britain; although Scandinavians did it to form surnames.

I think that if it wasn't for the association with the contemporary actor, Harrison Ford, Harrison could have had a traditional feel - almost. The Victorians used to often use last names as first names.

subbysammiexoxo · 25/05/2021 01:34

I'm sure I saw online there's a variation of Diana that people think they will use, can't remember which one it was though

EmphaticPeriod · 25/05/2021 01:30

Maya with mums' names as middle names

WhatWouldPhyllisCraneDo · 25/05/2021 00:52

Bella Doria Diana Mountbatten-Windsor

Although I'm secretly hoping for Phyllis Grin

TotorosCatBus · 25/05/2021 00:40

@ItsDinah

I think there will be an echo of Meghan's name. I tried for an anagram but I don't think Hang-Me is cute enough. Hannah? Helen? T o go with Harry's Son- what about Marilla? Megzilla lacked the cute factor.
Meghan's first name is Rachel which has been suggested a few time in this thread...
felulageller · 25/05/2021 00:35
