I think:

 • Diana Rachel;
 • Rosa Diana; or
 • something beginning with ‘Z’.

What does everyone else think? And please - if you’re not interested - don’t join in the conversation.

Sadie Diana Elizabeth

sarah13xx · 27/05/2021 09:04

My guess has always been that she’d arrive on 27th may, so we’ll see!

Snog · 27/05/2021 08:46

Mimi Megsdaughter

Charley1984 · 27/05/2021 00:39

I think they’d go for something like matilda ‘tilly’ diana

felulageller · 26/05/2021 23:23

Artemis Mary Frances
(Artemis is the Greek goddess equivalent to Diana, Mary is one of the queen's middle names and Frances was Diana's middle name)

Or maybe Artemis Mary Rachel

partyatthepalace · 26/05/2021 22:44

Oprah Grin

GucciJackie · 26/05/2021 22:33

I think they'd avoid that, it doesn't sound like the sibling of an Archie.

She must be about to have it! She looked 6 months in their announcement photo on the 14th Feb

GucciJackie · 26/05/2021 22:31
@GucciJackie Dido is a proper name though.
Oh I know it's a proper name!

ILoveShula · 26/05/2021 22:25

MeMeToo?

friendlycat · 26/05/2021 22:10

They may alter Mimi into a more appropriate name that resonates with them both such as MeMe. I’m sure The Queen would think it a highly appropriate name.

ILoveShula · 26/05/2021 21:29

I thought Sophia too as it's so popular, but they won't know that.

Evanna13 · 26/05/2021 21:18

Maybe Sophia - meaning wisdom in Greek

ILoveShula · 26/05/2021 21:13

Princess?

Donitta · 26/05/2021 21:07

It’s obviously going to be Diana. Nothing else would be attention seeking enough.

Tana433 · 26/05/2021 21:06

I think Liberty shortened to Libby is a good shout.

GucciJackie · 26/05/2021 20:46

Does Nadia have the same letters as Diana?

Ok, yes, another suggestion, Nadia although I think it's too plain for their tastes

Anotherlovelybitofsquirrel · 26/05/2021 20:42

@ILoveShula Grin

GucciJackie · 26/05/2021 20:42

Didi short for Diana Rosa Elizabeth ( Didi ) for short.

They'll put in Elizabeth to suck up to the queen.
or maybe Liberty du Royale

ILoveShula · 26/05/2021 20:37

Wallis?

ILoveShula · 26/05/2021 20:36

James

Thewinterofdiscontent · 26/05/2021 20:08

Skiptheheartsandflowers could be on to sonething. Mai seems like a good choice and a “MM” initial gas got to be in the running.
Would love a baby Splag though!

Victoria. Just so everyone knows they could have been Royals if they wanted it.
Liberty sounds suitably worthy. And they can get a sponsorship deal with the London flag store.....

Sweetslumber · 26/05/2021 18:55

Have we had Winifred?
The good thing about it is that It means joy and peace.

Skiptheheartsandflowers · 26/05/2021 18:15

The virtue-based names like Liberty, Hope, Grace, Faith seem like good guesses. On that basis, my out there suggestion is...

Splagchnizomai (Mai for short)

Why on earth, you may ask? Well, they talked about choosing Archie (which caught us all napping) because of it being the Greek word for 'source of action' and that inspiring both their son's name and the same for their foundation. One of their favourite key terms now is 'compassion'. So off I went to Google 'Greek for compassion' and found the following: 'the largest ingredient to the Biblical word compassion is the Greek word Splagchnizomai'. This could be shortened to Mai day to day - they like informal nickname style too - and that would conveniently allow Meghan to pass on her 'M. M.' engraved Cartier watch to her daughter too.

Do I have time to get a bet on, do you think?

Melitza · 26/05/2021 18:07
