Middle name ideas for Saoirse

Hi everyone

We’re expecting baby girl in 3 months and pretty set on the name Saoirse, but struggling with a nice sounding middle name. I like the shorter names as Saoirse (pronounced Seer-sha) is a bit lengthy in itself. Have considered the likes of Faye, Elle etc. Any suggestions would be welcome!

@Anordinarymum @thepiratequeen I’ve heard Saoirse Ronan pronounce it ‘Sur-sha’, but think it may depend on where in Ireland/which dialect etc. I’d definitely always pronounce it ‘Seer-sha’.

@bubblesforlife really like Eve or Niamh

I like PPs Ellen suggestion, also Jean, Catherine, Eve. Quite like Niamh and Maeve too - but maybe an Anglo name better for variety.

Just stay away from the holy trinity of middle name cliches - May, Rose and Grace

Rose

@Anordinarymum it’s definitely pronounced “seer-sha”.
Maybe your friends name sounds different because of an accent?

OP a 1 Syllable name would work well.
Jane, Eve, Niamh,

I know Saoirse Ronan pronounced it Sur sha but I have always heard it pronounced as Seer sha where I live. It may vary in different areas of the country but either are okay.

It's pronounced 'sur-sha', unless someone corrects me. I have a friend with this name and this is how her mother says it and so does everyone else.
