Sofia and Olive?

What do you think of Olive as sibling for Sofia?

I’m really warming to it...just need to convince dp!
And think of a boys name....

I have a baby Olive. I've scarred her for life according to these posters 😂 it's a marmite name I suppose but we gets loads of compliments whenever we introduce her. It's unique and I think it's very very cute. I don't regret it for a second and it suits her well. And she's definitely not a 'lumpy' baby 😂

I do think it doesn't have quite the same vibe as Sofia though so might be better suited as a middle name if you still like it!

Don't worry I have an 11 year old Olive and she absolutely rocks her name. She gets compliments all the time and I think it's the most beautiful name. There weren't many around when she was born but I know of a few more now. I love that it's different, but not that different and it's quirky but beautiful. And she is just like her name 😍

I still like Olive but maybe not with Sofia.
I am thinking Luca for a boy! Worried about the upcoming Disney film making it really popular though!
Still stuck with girls names.

I love Olive...it was my nan-in-laws name and she absolutely rocked so I'm biased.

There are Olivia's everywhere so it's that little bit quirkier and definitely better than a lot of the granny chic names out there atm.

Sorry, really don’t like Olive. Agree Francesca goes well with Sofia.

I'm really sorry, but I think that Olive is awful. It's something you would eat, and it's the name of Popeye's wife. There are so many much prettier
names you could choose.

Sofia is beautiful but I think Olive is just awful.They do not go together at all and as the above poster already said Olive is going to feel very hard done by.Olivia would be a better choice.

Olive is oily and plain. I don't understand how people can like it as a name. Sorry.

I feel as though it's meant to sound a bit like Iris or Hazel but it doesn't.

I like Olive very much but it is very different to Sofia. Though that shouldn't be a problem if you like it. There's no rule that names have to 'match'.

Olive is one of my favorite girl names!!! So so adorable!!!

We would have used it except our surname is Brown...Olive Brown sounds like a crayon color 😂

I love Olive, but as others have said it's a very different style to Sofia and doesn't really go. Olivia goes better, but it's very popular.
