Quirky or classic?

I'm looking for reactions to the names Daphne and Rosanna.

My husband and entourage are keen on Daphne but I can't help hearing daft knee... It does go well with our surname and I do find it quite charming though.

I like Rosanna but my husband says it's a gypsy name. I think it's strong and feminine though...

Not keen on either but would choose Rosanna, Lots of NN.

Prefer Rosanna.

You have to think about nicknames too. Even if you insist on full name when they get to school it will get abreviated. So, Rosie, Annie, daffy, daf etc.

Daphne was not a good character in Mallory Towers only use of the name I’m aware of 😁

Daphne is awful. Rosanna is better although I prefer Roseanne.

I love Rosanna, and it also gives a Rose/ Rosie/ Anna variation.

I prefer Daphne to Rosanna I think.
Rosanna doesn't seem strong to me but a bit dippy.
But if you don't like each other's names then maybe try and think of a compromise name rather than choosing one of these?
