Hi, We are due a girl in a couple of weeks and are stuck between two names Cleo and Lila. Which do you prefer?

Definitely Cleo.

Cleo for sure - unusual but not out there, strong but feminine

Lila always sounds made up and wet to me and blurrs with the endless Lara/Lyra/Lola/Luna/Leah/Lila/Lilys

Cleo. There are too many Lila, Lola, Luna, Lyra type names around.

babbaloushka · 18/05/2021 21:39

Lila is beautiful but rather same-y, Cleo is fantastically unique and has strength .

KirstenBlest · 18/05/2021 21:01

Cleo. I don't like Lila

StevieNix · 18/05/2021 20:10

Both are nice but Cleo stands out for me. It’s beautiful and less used

DramaAlpaca · 18/05/2021 20:06

Cleo, it's strong and feisty. Lila is the opposite.

MajorNeville · 18/05/2021 20:01

Cleo.

Cleo is much nicer and more distinctive than Lila, which is likely to blend in with all the other currently trendy L names (Lily/Lyra/Layla/Lola et al).

I love Cleo - quite brave but very cool sounding. Lila blends into other popular names like Lyra, Mila etc (nice as they all are), plus I personally prefer the Lilah spelling.
