What do you think about this name for a little boy?

Lionel Richie is a beautiful man! More concerned about Lionel Blair 🤪

Honestly I feel there are connotations with every name I like. Most of these connotations will be channeled via adults rather than the kids themselves who are unlikely to know about the Lionels of the past

I am really into the pronunciation and sound of the name, meaning 'little lion / young lion' and it's association to the Knights of the Round table.

Is it me you are looking for?

Your son will hear that joke millions of time over

KirstenBlest · 14/05/2021 18:42

Not Noah, far too popular.

summerhillgang · 14/05/2021 18:36

Ohh glad you mostly like it. I do appreciate there are some connotations but I feel like there are those with almost every name. It does sound quite beautiful.

My other fave is Noah but just concerned how popular it is. Also love Forrest and Lachlan.

Strong, traditional name, go for it!

imayhavelostmymarbles · 14/05/2021 18:14

I love it. It's a real name and there won't be 3 of them in the class. Perfect.

Happycat1212 · 14/05/2021 18:12

I like it

Surroundedbytime · 14/05/2021 18:11

No definitely not.

Branleuse · 14/05/2021 18:10

Love it

wizzywig · 14/05/2021 18:10

Very cute. Love it

DappledThings · 14/05/2021 18:08

I really like it.

ChardonnaysPetDragon · 14/05/2021 17:56

For a baby?

Dear Lord, no.

A somethingdoodle, or a cat, maybe.

OhTheIronyOfItAll · 14/05/2021 17:53

I think you can guarantee he will be the only one in his class!

My fist thought was ‘why would you?’

But, actually, now I’ve said it a few times it really has grown on me. Smile If you really love the name then don’t mention it to anyone else because someone will spoil it for you. It’s far harder for people to be awful about a name you’ve chosen once baby is here and has been given the name.
