Any suggestions as to what flows nicely? I like Isobel but not sure on the double I. Also like Hope and Elise... but not sure we’ve found the one yet! Any suggestions welcome! 😊

Another vote for Ivy Isobel!

Just when are the Rose/May/Grace/Rae middle names ever going to go away? So unbelievably common, boring and just a filler. I even fell into it myself 20 years ago and my own daughter has Rose as her middle name.HmmHmmHmm Really regret it. What a waste.

How about Laura, Sasha, Zara, Caitlin, Tamsin, Lowenna, Fay?

Or Ivy Imogen

Another vote for Ivy Elizabeth.

Ivy Isobel is nice - I think because the 'i' sounds are different, so they are not truly alliterative. For instance, Ivy Isla sounds terrible, but Ivy Ingrid also flows.

Synchrony · 14/05/2021 23:07

I think Ivy Isobel flows better than most of the alternative suggestions.

KirstenBlest · 14/05/2021 20:03

Ivy Isobel isn't alliterative.

GoodbyePorpoiseSpit · 14/05/2021 19:44

Well I’m biased because I have an Ivy Elizabeth - but think it flows nicely :)

Yika · 14/05/2021 19:43

Ivy Isobel is a lovely combination. I like alliterative names, but if you don't, the fact that the initial sound is different makes it a non-issue.

I was considering Ivy. I liked Ivy Raine but my husband wasn’t keen.

Ivy Jean or Ivy Jane ?

Jean is coming back and I’m sure Jane won’t be far behind. Just avoid May, Rose or Grace!

ILoveShula · 13/05/2021 22:02

I don't like Ivy.

Ivy Rose and Ivy May are a bit naff as they are both two flower names

I actually surprise myself by really liking Ivy Isobel. I'm generally not keen on alliteration but Ivy Isobel is really lovely.
