I have posted before with just 2 of these names, but we’ve added a new one...

I wish there was a voting option!

But could you please tell me what would be your 1st, 2nd & 3rd choice or just your favourite & why?

Thank you!

April only. Dislike Molly and Connie is not a proper name and quite frumpy/geriatric sounding.

M0rT · 17/05/2021 01:27
  1. Constance/Connie because I knew a lovely woman with a great laugh with that name.
  2. Mollie, I knew elderly ladies with that name when I was a child and now know a lovely little girl with it.
  3. April nothing wrong with the name but the only one I've known was not very good company Sorry, it's a completely subjective to me ranking but none of the names have objective issues so subjective is a all I've got! Maybe practice saying "Connie, dinner time" "Mollie, put your shoes on" "April if you don't clean this room I'm docking your pocket money" and see which comes more naturally to you?
subbysammiexoxo · 17/05/2021 01:17

1.Molly if its Mollie instead
2.Connie
3.April

RuthW · 16/05/2021 22:00

April - lovely
Molly - ok. A bit dated now
Connie - half a name and can't stand those. Constance is lovely though.

WaitinginVain · 16/05/2021 21:52
  1. April - better if born in that month, but really pretty and fairly unusual anyway
  2. Constance (NOT Connie) - lovely name and meaning if in full
  3. Molly - don't dislike but not that keen. Have a relative with this name and it was nice and different then but as PPs have said, a bit overused now.
BatleyTownswomensGuild · 15/05/2021 21:42

April is one of my favs. Such lovely positive associations 😌

NeedToKnow101 · 15/05/2021 21:18

I love Connie!

Chilldonaldchill · 15/05/2021 21:17

  3. Molly
Lollypop4 · 15/05/2021 21:13

Connie.

Mollie( but my mum's dog was called this)

April

ChillyBon95 · 15/05/2021 21:11

Hi :) April I my daughters name, I loved it since I was a little girl( planned on changing my name to it but chickens out). We double barrelled it to April-Rose but I think when you see your baby you just know what name is right and just know what fits.

So ofcourse I'm going to say
1.April
2.Molly

  1. Connie

(But I'm one of those people who always know someone with the same name who I wasn't fond of lol) xx

Connie
Molly
April

  1. April - beautiful name, not overused, simple to spell and say.
  2. Molly - not a fan, but next best. Not many about now.
  3. Connie - there’s a lot of love for this name but I personally find it very dowdy. Just personal taste.
Tuesday588 · 14/05/2021 18:22

Molly is my favourite followed by April.
Not keen on Connie although quite like Constance

NoSquirrels · 14/05/2021 11:14
  1. Constance (nn Connie)
  2. April
  3. Molly (a very lagging no. 3 for me as I’m not keen)

I love the ‘month’ names - April, May, June - but kind of think I wouldn’t unless my child was born in that month. I also love ‘virtue’ names - Constance, Grace, Faith, Patience.

Iris2020 · 14/05/2021 11:10
  1. Molly - I've always liked this name
  2. Connie - I quite like it too, although it doesn't sound great if pronounced in a number of other languages - which may never be a factor.
  3. April - nothing wrong with the name, just not my favourite
Inafastspin · 14/05/2021 09:09
  1. April - it has a fresh, pleasing sound and I don't think a child has to be born in that month only
  2. Connie - I quite like it, though I would also probably veer towards using Constance too (even though I don't always agree that the full name has to be used)
  3. Molly - I agree that it sounds a bit dull by comparison
TatianaBis · 14/05/2021 06:34

Connie.

Don’t like the others. Polly is much nicer than Molly.

MercyBodle · 14/05/2021 05:19
  1. April - fresh and unexpected, neat and up-beat
  2. Molly - warm and sweet
  3. Connie - just don't find this appealing
JemimaJoy · 14/05/2021 04:43

Connie or April. Hate Constance though!

IamnotwhouthinkIam · 14/05/2021 00:38
  1. April - pretty enough sound and underused.
  2. Molly - friendly/down to earth but maybe a bit dull.
  3. Connie - not for me, but fine as a nn for Constance.
starfire88 · 13/05/2021 21:46

I have a soft spot for Molly as that was my grandmother's name. My favourite from your list though is Connie. It's a underused classic in my view, and I can imagine it growing well with your child.

CoalCraft · 13/05/2021 21:31
  1. Molly - lovely name, really like
  2. Connie - pretty name but loses points for being a nickname for something else (Constance)
  3. April - not to my taste and Ape is not a great nickname (I knew an April that got called Ape, not in an intentionally derogatory way)
PassGo · 13/05/2021 21:04
  1. April - Pretty, unusual, quirky
  2. Constance/Connie - classic, elegant
  3. Molly - overdone now
HappyDaysToCome · 13/05/2021 20:32
