Hi I'm only a few weeks away from giving birth and this is my shortlist. I'd be really grateful for any help in getting it down! Thanks x

Millie
Daisy
Alice
Thea
Grace
Nancy

Hufflepuffsunite · 11/05/2021 20:31

I like Thea and Nancy best.

Synchrony · 11/05/2021 20:25

I like Alice, Daisy and Nancy.
Grace is OK.
I don't like Millie (nickname) or Thea (too soft for my taste but nothing wrong with it).

AmandaPlease · 11/05/2021 20:17

I really like Daisy.

Don't like Thea. The rest are pretty but sound a bit twee on an adult.

TatianaBis · 11/05/2021 20:15

Nancy by miles. The rest are meh.

mamablondie33 · 11/05/2021 20:08

Nancy by a mile

GintyMcGinty · 11/05/2021 19:56

I like Alice and Grace

Imonlyhumanafterall2021 · 11/05/2021 19:55

I think all are nice names

UltimateBlends · 11/05/2021 19:55

Grace quite common where I live too.

hullaballoo19 · 11/05/2021 19:55

I like daisy, Alice and grace :)

UltimateBlends · 11/05/2021 19:55

They're all lovely.
I knew a grown up woman called Millie and she was lovely!
Although it's my least favourite on the list.
Alice or Nancy for me.

DramaAlpaca · 11/05/2021 19:53

I only like Alice.

The worst, by far, is Thea.

Lnix · 11/05/2021 19:52

I think you can't go wrong with any of those. My only query would be Millie being more of a nickname. Daisy doesn't make me think of a cow as others have said. Just a lovely wildflower! Good luck 👍

DotDotDotDotDot · 11/05/2021 19:29

Favourite is Nancy, least favourite is Millie.

MooseMoose · 11/05/2021 19:15

Millie - bit too girly, can't imagine a grown woman called Millie. I do quite like Molly though (plus Molly's Game is a great film)
Daisy - Cow, bit twee - prefer Iris, Rosa / Rose / Rosalie or Fern if you're feeling botanical
Alice - classic, lovely
Thea - Nice, I like it
Grace - bit dull
Nancy - Victorian maid

allthegoodusernameshavegone · 11/05/2021 19:14

Thea is lovely
All the others are also very nice and timeless with the exception of Nancy which sounds dull to me

Serpenta · 11/05/2021 19:06

Thea and Nancy are my favourites. They sound like sharp-witted bluestockings from the 1930s.

HuntingoftheSnark · 11/05/2021 18:51

Alice is gorgeous and classic. I like Nancy too.

OloBo · 11/05/2021 18:46

Alice

SpringSunshineandTulips · 11/05/2021 18:45

Grace is lovely. Quite like Nancy too. Agree with daisy but if you really love it maybe you could have Maisie which sounds similar but doesn’t make people think of cows.

KingPong · 11/05/2021 18:40

Thea is my favourite, then Nancy.

The others are ok except Daisy which is a cows name.

JamCrackers · 11/05/2021 18:37

The only one I’m not keen on is Millie.

Thea is my favourite.

JayAlfredPrufrock · 11/05/2021 18:35

Nancy.

alexdgr8 · 11/05/2021 18:35

Alice
Grace

that's all. the rest don't sound like proper names.
Theodora would be a good name.

Fivemoreminutes1 · 11/05/2021 18:34

I like them all, but ditto PP about Daisy

SantaMonicaPier · 11/05/2021 18:34

I love Thea most
