Just be careful with initials- Nancy or Norah are lovely names but I couldn’t saddle someone with initials spelling NOB.

We have an O’M name so had similar.

I agree @Amz6219 that "y" endings flow well with O'Brien but I don't think "a" endings do so well.

I definitely think a 'y' (ee) sound I think...

Congratulations!
I think O’Brien is a surname that goes with a lot of different names, letters and syllables. Here are some ideas that I think would be good options for the name of your daughter!

More popular names:
Emily O’Brien
Phoebe O’Brien
Ava O’Brien
Poppy O’Brien
Darcy O’Brien
Mollie O’Brien
(I think names that end in an ‘I’ sound work really well with your surname)

Possible consider some double barrelled first names?
Lily-Mae O’Brien
Hattie-Grace O’Brien
Ella-Jade O’Brien
Josie-Anne O’Brien

I also think some more unusual names would work great would O’Brien
Dixie O’Brien
Nora O’Brien
Winter O’Brien
Tate O’Brien
Mimi O’Brien
Paisley O’Brien
Elliana O’Brien
Ophelia O’Brien
Delilah O’Brien

I really like masculine sounding or nickname sounding names for a baby girl, particularly with a more feminine middle name
Devon Grace O’Brien
Denver Grace O’Brien
Sage Amelia O’Brien
Drew Valentina O’Brien
Quinn Sophia O’Brien
Marlow Candice O’Brien
Reese Catherine O’Brien

I really hope this helped!! :)

Congratulations!

I would choose something with only 1 or 2 syllables. A longer name will be a mouthful, e.g. Emma, Anna, Kate, Hazel, Florence, Kathryn (rather than the longer Catherine, Victoria, Jennifer).

...and nothing ending in an 'S' otherwise the names run into one another.

Good luck choosing! We didn't choose dd's name until she was born. It was so hard to make a decision.
