Oh Spied, do we know the same ones?
(clue: had a habit of being the other woman)

ILoveShula · 11/05/2021 15:41

Cherry - fruit
Clementine - another fruit, are you making a fruit salad?

Wendy - Don't like
Maeve - don't like
Claire - never met a nice one, and I know many

Rosanna - nice
Lara - nice
Nancy - ok
Laura - nice

Would consider using:
Polly - like
Jane - like

Amz6219 · 11/05/2021 13:48

Cherry - 0 (just don't like)
Wendy - 0 (reminds me of an old lady or a wendy house)
Rosanna - 7 (pretty)
Lara - 8 (pretty too, but strong too)
Polly - 2 (reminds me of Miss Polly had a dolly...)
Maeve - 8 (really like, but has become very popular)
Nancy - 7 (really like)
Laura - 4 (basic, millennial!)
Claire - 3 (as Laura)
Clementine - 4 (fruit)
Jane - 2 (better for middle name)

Polly and Jane both get 10 for being ace.

Rosanna is good too so gets an 8.

Cherry- 1- more a nickname to me ( of what I don't know). Cutsey.
Wendy-1- Reminds me of Peter Pan- which I love- but really the name itself is dated and just a no.
Roseanna- 8- a bit different, pretty and I love Anna so would use that on a daily basis and put Roseanna on bc.
Lara- 7- I really like it. Classic but a little common.
Polly-6- I like it. Prefer the similar Molly.
Maeve -4- no. I think it will date. Bit daddy to me.
Nancy- 3- twee
Laura- 7- I like Laura. A classic and not too popular.
Claire-0- Dated and all the ones I know ( 30s and 40s) are horrible.
Clementine- 5- old name but also having a moment now. Will date.
Jane-1- Again, a classic but very boring imo.

Nancy - 8/10 . A little twee but gorgeous. Maeve - 8/10. Beautiful, soft & strong. Rosanna - 7/10. Frillier than my taste but pretty & nostalgia points for the Toto song. Suits a little one and an adult. Clementine - 5/10 - Having a moment but objectively pretty. In my neck of the woods Clems means balls. Polly - 4/10. Any love I have is entirely down to PJ Harvey. Reminds me of plastic products - polyfilla etc. Jane - 3/10. Can’t shake the plain Jane thing. Would sound refreshing today though. Lara - 2/10 - superficial. I can’t imagine someone characterful being named this. I realise this is daft. Cherry - 2/10 - cute but not on a grown-up. Also strippers. Wendy 2/10 - redeemed slightly due to Peter Pan but other than that wet (imo) Laura - 2/10 - dull. I like Sarah though so don’t necessarily listen to that. Claire - 1/10. Just don’t see anything appealing about this name. I also hear it in Cilla Blacks voice (RIP).
