bit of a mix bag - 1-10

Cherry - 0/10 - sorry but it’s what my mum would refer to as a stripper name
Wendy - 2/10 - very clunky and old lady-ish
Rosanna - 3/10 - i can’t put my finger on it but I’m not keen on this, maybe it’s just a bit too frilly and over the top (even though I do quite like frilly names myself)
Lara - 6/10 - cool and modern sounding but I personally prefer Laura and Lyra
Polly - 5/10 - probably on the wrong side of being an old lady’s name, very clunky and prissy sounding
Maeve - 5/10 - it’s stuck between sounding really cool but really dated, not really my style. Sounds a bit too much like Mavis
Nancy - 6/10 - sweet and has a cool vintage vibe to it
Laura - 8/10 - classic and elegant
Claire - 6/10 - nice enough but maybe a little dated these days (very 80s/90s)
Clementine - 7/10 - I think it’s charming and classic but can acknowledge it’s not everyone’s cup of tea. I prefer the ‘teen’ pronunciation
Jane - 5/10 - nice enough name but a little plain (also plain Jane name calling)

Cherry - 4 - too fruity
Wendy - 2 - wet, Peter Pan
Rosanna - 9 - beautiful
Lara - 8 - classy
Polly - 5 - OK, a bit dull
Maeve - 7 - nice
Nancy - 5 - Oliver Twist
Laura - 8 - very nice
Claire - 6 - dated especially with this spelling
Clementine - 7.5, nice
Jane - 5 - very plain

Cherry - 1 shoe polish
Wendy - 0. It comes from ‘fwendy’ and how can that be good?
Rosanna - 3
Lara - 6 Doctor Zhivago reference is good, though
Polly- 5
Maeve - 5
Nancy - 6 but very popular now
Laura - 4 bit 80s and old hat
Claire- 3 ditto
Clementine - 6 I do quite like it but not sure about Clemmie

Cherry - 0 only on a cake
Wendy - 0 naff and dated
Rosanna - 8 lovely, but if she gets Rosie as nn there are a few about
Lara - 7, great but too many about and also blends with all the Lola/Lyra/Lila//Lilys
Polly - 7 v cute, but bit little girly
Maeve - 4 getting v pop, I find it quite ugly
Nancy - 8 - Cute but tough
Laura - 6 - it’s ok

Cherry - 1. Still has the losing virginity meaning for me
Wendy - 2. Very 70s.
Rosanna - 7. Too fussy for me but it's ok as a name
Lara - 9. Lovely. Strong pretty attractive not fussy...
Polly - 11. My favourite on your list. Smart and sassy and attractive all in one name. Perfect!
Maeve - 5. It's ok but not as nice as done if the other names on your list
Nancy - 8. I like this. Just prefer others on your list
Laura - 4. Boring.
Claire - 6. Still feels very 70s but I can see this having a revival. It's pretty.
Clementine - 10. Lovely name. The teen Vs tine pronunciation issue is the only downside
Jane - 3. Boring.

Jane is absolutely beautiful. I met a 90 year old Jane and name has stuck with me since. Add a t on the end though and it’s a hard pass
