Cannot decide between these names

Hi everyone, we have recently welcomed our third child, a baby girl (5th of May) and still cannot decide between 5 names: Nora, Leilani, Margot, Milana and Selene.
We already have two older children who are Elliott and Felicity, and we have decided that the middle name shall be Collette.
Thank you so much for your help

Good choice.

Lelophants · 13/05/2021 20:31

Ok gut reactions:

Nora - boring, old, servant girl
Leilani - interesting, quite like it
Margot - goes the best with the others
Milana - chavvy
Selene - nice-ish, no wow factor

Oops! Apologies, didn't see your update! Congratulations x

Nora (or Norah) for me.

TracyBeakerSoYeah · 13/05/2021 00:17

Margot

Ellmau · 13/05/2021 00:12

Selene.

Ilikecheeseontoast · 12/05/2021 21:49

Margot is lovely

resm · 12/05/2021 21:40

Nora!

Nancydrawn · 12/05/2021 05:35

Margot or Nora. Both are lovely and slide between elegant and film noir. (I always think of Dashiell Hammett's Nick and Nora, who are great.)

Theoldwoman · 12/05/2021 00:20

Selene Colette.

Goes really well with her siblings!

Congratulations!

Flowers500 · 12/05/2021 00:18

I think Margot or Céline if you spelt it that way, not a huge fan of the “S” version. Nora makes me think of a middle aged woman with a bob, I don’t know why though Grin

bluechameleon · 11/05/2021 23:45

I would choose Norah (prefer that spelling) or Margot. I like Leilani but I think with your other children's names there would be too many Ls.

Bimblybomeyelash · 11/05/2021 23:44

I like Celine Nn Cici.

What about Melissa?

Redsquirrel5 · 11/05/2021 23:43

My grandmother was Elenora and was called Nora.

Elenora Colette goes well. Just a suggestion.

Blacktothepink · 11/05/2021 23:40

Margot

User27aw · 11/05/2021 23:38

Margot

Margot goes much better with Elliott and Felicity, which both have a classic elegant 1940s/1950s sort of vibe. The other names a bit less so I feel - Nora is much more Victorian-Edwardian, a bit too old fashioned for me (I had a great-aunt Nora born in the 1910s!) Selene doesn't quite seem to fit with the other children's names either - it's pretty but in a different, more modern style, to my mind.

As8ly4yn · 11/05/2021 23:21

I love that nickname! (still haven’t named the baby yet). Ruled out milana and Leilani but still the other three to pick from

That’s all too random for me. Can mum and dad not discuss? That’s no reason for the names not to work together.
