Louisa is pretty and vintage.
Ruby is dated now.
Lucy is sweet.
Nina is sweet and international and classy. I'd choose Nina followed by Lucy or Louisa.

joystir59 · 06/05/2021 21:33

I like Louisa most. I least like Ruby- I think it's a tart's name. Nina is ok. Lucy is ok.

Enko · 06/05/2021 21:31

Louisa or Nina

I have baaaad associations w Ruby x 3 and Lucy is just way to common for my liking.

mamablondie33 · 06/05/2021 20:58

Ruby. The others are a bit dull.

Thedogscollar · 06/05/2021 00:59

@alexdgr8

Lucy or Louisa, both are fab. Nina is ok. Ruby sounds like a bar-maid. not an unpleasant name, but sounds a bit below-stairs.
A bit below stairs Hmm
yikesanotherbooboo · 05/05/2021 23:13

Love Lucy and Louisa
Quite like Nina
Not mad on Ruby

Tillygetsit · 05/05/2021 23:00

I like all of your choices except for Lucy. I've only ever met very odd ones but that's my problem not yours! In order, I like
Louisa
Ruby
Nina
Lucy.

Bibidy · 05/05/2021 17:11

I love Ruby but appreciate it's super popular now so may not be the best choice. Louisa is unusual and pretty.

YoniAndGuy · 05/05/2021 17:04

Lucy or Nina.

notalwaysalondoner · 05/05/2021 16:51

Ruby - don't like it
Lucy - fine, a bit dull
Louisa - OK, very dull, but classic 'royal' name
Nina - unusual, quite timeless

Probably in order of preference I'd go:
Louisa
Lucy
Nina
Ruby

Although I feel similarly about the first three, they're all fine.

Kittytheteapot · 05/05/2021 16:46

I like Louisa the best. Elegant, timeless, sophisticated.
Nina is quite sweet, but i keep hearing a little boy imitating an old style police car siren (nee-nar, nee-nar)
Ruby - ok, not my thing but perfectly acceptable.
Personally, my least favourite is Lucy. I liked it once, but have been put off over the years by knowing too many wet Lucys.

sarah13xx · 05/05/2021 16:41

Ruby 🥰

partyatthepalace · 05/05/2021 12:26

Louisa

Lucy is classic but overused and a bit little girl, Ruby is fun but the sudden fad will date it, Nina is just meh as a full name

Lalliella · 05/05/2021 11:38

All good but I particularly like Nina

League table:
1 Nina
2 Ruby
3 Lucy
4 Louisa

Sexnotgender · 05/05/2021 10:55

Love Nina, not a fan of Ruby. Other 2 are a bit blah, not bad but not my favourite.

chocolatecheesecake · 05/05/2021 10:55

Lucy or Nina. Lovely names for both a child and an adult. Ruby is overused and Louisa/Louise will end up being Lou

MercyBodle · 05/05/2021 10:52

Ruby and Lucy are my favourites. Louisa is nice too. I've known Louisas who are called Lucy for short - in case that's an idea to get both names!

lottiegarbanzo · 05/05/2021 10:17

Louisa or Nina

Ruby was too popular 20 years ago, Lucy is too popular now.

cptartapp · 05/05/2021 07:29

Louisa by a mile
Nina/Lucy
Don't like Ruby at all

Ginandplatonic · 05/05/2021 07:12

Louisa, Lucy, Nina, Ruby is my order of preference. But all are perfectly nice.

Sauvignonblanket · 05/05/2021 07:01

Love Nina

RickOShay · 05/05/2021 07:00

Nina or Louisa.

ThatIsMyPotato · 05/05/2021 06:55

I like Lucy and Nina

TatianaBis · 05/05/2021 01:32

Louisa for sure.

Lucy and Nina a bit meh.

Ruby downmarket.

Carouselfish · 05/05/2021 01:15

All except Louisa. Louise is an overused middle name in my generation. Also very aware of the 'wheeze' sound and its not lovely.
