Hello Smile

I'm expecting DC1 currently and don't yet know the sex. DH and I can't put our finger on any stand out names just yet and would love some help!

Baby's surname will be Rose, so no floral girl names, or anything that could sound like a scented candle Grin and for boys we just would like something that flows well and doesn't sound too "soft" with the surname.

All help very welcome! Smile

Arthur not too popular here in the south. I have been a teacher for 10 years in a range of catchement areas and never taught an Arthur nor know of any in my different friend circles! Last one I know is in his 30s now. If you love that id got for it x

Don't choose a name that could be a surname.

For example
Ramsey Rose or is it Rose Ramsey?

Tillygetsit · 02/05/2021 23:07

The first boys name that came to mind was Elijah Rose. I think that sounds fab.

Arthur Rose is fine. Go for it.

All your beginning-with-R names are too feminine I think, which isn't fair with a girls name for a surname.

Aurelia (?) and the other one do seem a mouthful and a bit 'blurry' ahead of Rose.

Matilda Rose is fine, unless you find you prefer another name from this thread!

I do like these longer names for girls.

Any more boy names?? That's our main struggle tbh!

@Saltyslug I love it, but saying it out loud is a mouthful and a hard no from DH! Sad

Boy names are hard!
