I like Siriol a lot but it’s definitely got potential to be mispronounced in a way that is minor to an English speaker but absolutely infuriating to a Welsh speaker/person. It feels like it’s one of the ones that can only really shine brightest in it’s native language/country if you get what I mean, which is a shame. But if you’re in Wales... I say do it.

Tesni and Manon have potential to be mispronounced too but I think they are much easier to correct and it’s a 50/50 that the person gets it right on first go in my experience.

All lovely names but personally I’d look at Tesni/Manon if outside of Wales. Best of luck 😊

I think it depends on where you are. It'll probably be mispronounced outside of Wales though.

Wouldn't Siriol be mispronounced as cereal? I personally don't like any of the names but that's just me.

My friend is Siriol and everyone shortens it to Siri. Might want to take that into account if you feel strongly about abbreviations or nicknames.

Not keen on Eirlys - seems frumpy and grannyish and I wouldn't like to be called Snowdrop.

Manon is very popular.
Tesni and Siriol are both ok. Not keen on Ela - prefer Elin.
Siriol is putting some expectation on the DD - what if she is anything but?

I really like Manon. Not keen on Siriol. Love the meaning of Tesni, just not sure about the actual sound of it. How about Eirlys?
