Rank my girls names please?

Have three girls names I'm thinking of, all different vibes! And can't decide. Could you rank favourite to least favourite please?

Anna
(love that it's classic, but is it dull?)

Nina
(old lady revival that's just jumped 40 places in the charts, so maybe too popular soon?)

Mila
(very cute, more modern but maybe more dated??)

I love Nina, short, sophisticated and international.
Anna is nice, feels more classic but safe choice. Maybe Anya?
Not keen on Mila, some will pronounce it mee-la and others my-la.

Anna - elegant classic, very international (plus a cool palindrome!). I don't find it dull but if she does, it at least has well known nn options (Anya, Annie), so she can make it her own.

Nina (2nd choice) - to me this is a quirkier Anna. A lovely name, neither especially classic/traditional sounding but not trendy yet either. May be on the rise as people look for alternatives to classic Anna, Eva and Emma though.

Mila - pretty name but I think in the UK this is quite trendy sounding, thanks to it being a celeb name and similar to other popular names (Mia, Maya, Myla).

I love Nina, closely followed by Anna. Both lovely, classic but not completely overused. Great choices!

Mila is ok but maybe a little faddy?

I love Anna, and don’t know any little ones.
Also like Nina, but not so keen on Mila.

Another vote for Anna. Classic. Mila was actually on my list as I thought of it as a very international name, however it’s lost now in a sea of similar sounding names. Mia Mya Maia Lily Lila etc. Not keen on Nina, just personal preference but nothing wrong with it.

@toastofthetown Vita is also lovely though!!

Maybe I should expand my list a bit, and look at other similar names... I clearly like short, -a endings! 😂

Other suggestions also very welcome.

@toastofthetown the 2020 data is out where I am, so Mila went up 6 places in 2019 and down 7 in 2020, currently ranked 36! It's so hard to tell longer term though.

Mila shot up out of nowhere recently, and fell in popularity in 2019. Its early to say without the 2020 data, but it looks like it could end up being a fast fashion type name, which rises rapidly out of nowhere and falls just as quickly.

As for Anna and Nina, they are different names. Anna is a classic name, which won’t thrill people, but it’s been in constant use for so long it won’t date. Nina has also been in relatively steady use for some time, but less common than Anna, so potentially more interesting. Maybe if you wait until she is born one will suit her more than the other. Another name I love which fits the sound you seem to like is Vita.

Nina middle aged

She's be gorgeous & will make any of them seem perfect!

I like both Anna and Nina a lot. Anna edges it, I think. Not keen on Mila at all. Feels 'trendy'.
