Biased as my DD middle name is Alys (Welsh spelling)

Blush immediately sang in my mind whenever I hear Alice. Never sung it to a small child though so that’s a bonus.

I nearly had a Daisy Alice but he was a boy. The names sound good together so use them both.

I have an Alice - she was going to be Alice Daisy until she was born and it didn’t feel right (she is Alice Eleanor). Nobody has ever sung that song at her - kids don’t know it and we don’t hang around with any adults twattish enough to think of it. Plus the name becomes the person - our Alice is strong, stubborn, sweet, loving, creative, quirky, and kind and the name suits her to a tee.
