Hey just wondered if I could have some ideas on unusual boy names! I like names with 2 syllables or more 🤣

You've not said what type of name you like, so I looked at names that were only registered three times last year and are more than two syllables, so these all should fit your brief:
Aaron-Junior
Goodluck
Howie
Iain
Kaique
Marmaduke
Shabsi
Thorbjorn
Ugochukwu
Winner

My youngest is called Eben, we've only met one before. The E is pronounced with an 'eh' sound like Emma, that's the only annoying thing he sometimes has people pronouncing it with an 'ee' sound! His middle name is Jago less unusual especially in Cornwall and seems to be gaining more popularity.

It depends what you mean by unusual - unheard of or just not popular right now?

Personally, I'm not a fan of "out there" names so i'd probably go with currently out of fashion names instead.

We had Ari, Asa, Caleb and Spencer on our list. Friend has an Edison - I’ve never met another one.

dementedma · 20/04/2021 21:51

Just go for currently out of fashion:
Bernard
Eric
Stephen
Mark
Francis
Leslie
Andrew
Robert
Etc

Thedogscollar · 20/04/2021 21:51

Wow you asked for unusual names and received lists of the most hideous names imaginable.

sarah13xx · 20/04/2021 21:49

I keep thinking about the name Rhett - really like it!
Keep seeing the name Blythe on unusual name posts too
Jasper is also nice if you don’t want to go too unusual
